Managing your artworks
How to add, edit, organize, and publish your artworks so they appear on your portfolio site.
Adding a new artwork
To add an artwork, go to Artworks in your admin sidebar and click Add artwork in the top-right corner. You will see a three-step wizard: Details, Images, and Publish.
Step 1, Details. Fill in the artwork title, medium, dimensions, and year. All fields except title are optional, but the more detail you add, the more searchable and professional your portfolio looks. You can add a description in the text box below the main fields. Write as much or as little as you like; descriptions appear on your artwork detail pages and can include your creative process, inspiration, or context about the work.
Step 2, Images. Upload one or more images of the artwork. Supported formats are JPEG, PNG, and WebP. For best results upload images at least 1200 pixels wide. You can drag to reorder images. The first image in the list becomes the primary thumbnail used in collection grids and sharing previews. If you have multiple views (front, detail, framed, installed), upload them all; collectors appreciate seeing the work from different angles.
Step 3, Publish. Choose whether to publish the artwork immediately or save it as a draft. Drafts are invisible to visitors but stay in your admin panel until you are ready. Published artworks appear on your portfolio immediately.
Editing an existing artwork
Click any artwork title in the Artworks list to open its detail page. From there, use the Edit button to change fields, swap images, or update the price. Changes save immediately when you click Save. Published artworks update live on your portfolio as soon as you save.
Marking an artwork as sold
Open the artwork detail page and click Mark as sold. The artwork stays visible on your portfolio (so collectors can still admire your past work) but a "Sold" indicator appears. If you have invoices enabled, you can also record the sale directly from the artwork page.
Deleting an artwork
From the artwork detail page, click the Delete button in the danger zone at the bottom. Deleting an artwork permanently removes it from your portfolio and cannot be undone. If you only want to hide it temporarily, set it to draft instead.
Organizing with status filters
Use the status filter in the Artworks list to show All, Published, Draft, or Sold artworks. This makes it easy to review what is live, what needs finishing, and what has sold.
